8v to 16v?

i did do a search and didnt find anything but is this possible i have a 1.4 R reg exclusive and want a bit more power (no i dont want to just get a vt)

so my question is is it possible to convert my 8v to a 16v?

if so how much would it cost where do i get the parts and is there a major power increase?

dont think there is a 1.4 16v head mate

No such thing as a 1.4 16v to my knowledge. The only way to get a 16V is do a VTS conversion.

no mate, a 16v head(vts) wont fit any other block appart from the vts one

if you looking for power increase and reasonable insurance, go for a vtr conversion

a 1.4 engine gives around 75bhp whereas a 1.6 vtr would give you 98bhp

think vts is around 130 bhp????
