Squeeky Brakes

Hi all, anybody got anyideas how to get rid of annoying squeeks from brakes its annoying when going threw 30 zones and got ya window open and all you can hear is squeeks lol i know you got your tunes to kill the noise but im thinking off the public lol hear me coming a mile away. me brakes are only bout 30% worn when had them checked by a garage bout month ago . Any ideas peeps cheers all

This could be something as simple as a stone trapped between your caliper and disk.

Does the squeal go away when you brake?

yeah when i brake you cant hear it i had the wheels off and had all the front discs cleaned with a air gun could be from the back not checked them but sounds seems to come from the front

If the pads are good take them off and on a flat surface clean the pad face on glass paper (sand paper) just to clean away any small grit. Check the discs, anything that looks worn could be worth replacing, not that expensive. The onlt sure way I have found of getting rid of squeakes is new discs and pads. This is obviously more expensive but make driving much better and braking back to A1 quality.

stick some copper grease on the back of the pads also..
