View Full Version : RADIATOR FAN NOT KICKING IN (whats this sensor?) VTS OWNERS LOOK!!!

since i did the conversion from a 97vtr to a 99vts my radiator fan hasnt worked. iv tested the fan motor and its fine.

if you look at your thermostat housing you will see 3 sensor sockets. a blua, a gree, and a brown. on the vts loom there wasnt a sensor to plug into the brown socket. can anyone tell me what this sensor is and where the wires associated with it go to and from?

check hanes manual mate if not just wire up a manual fan switch so weneva u wanna turn the fan on or off ie in traffic u can problem solved

my 97 vts hasnt got a plug there either

What I would do is what I do with my track cars bypass sensor and attach a switch which you can turn fan on and off simply to last a while why you are finding out the problem
