hey i noticed and someone claimed to me that VTR's and/or VTS's are lowered more from factory. than 1.1i?
becuase the thing i have is.. i have my 1.1i wiht 40mm springs and rear tors adjusted to suite.
now i have seen mine next to a VTR which has been dropped 40 and the VTR is a lot lower?
becasue im swapping my strusts and doing a rear disk upgrade in a couple of days and just wondering this before i actually do it.. cas my fornt bumper will be on the floor if it is a bit lower?
Thanks for your guidance.
Edit: shit forgot to mention my 1.1i has got full vt kit on so it can be compared properly and its a lot higher.

I could understand the two hi spec models being lowered, prolly -15mm "sport suspension" i know dubs do that on gti's etc. Plus always think furios and that sit a lot higher!

yes they are lowered a bit more iirc
might be because of engine weight though

if you have a arch kit on... if you have glued it on... you might of set the arches etc to high... making it look higher compared to a VTx!!!!
Engine weight between a 1.1 and a 1.6 is really nothing what soever.. matter of say 20kilos or so!!

lol that is most likely impossible because when teh rear bumper bolts on the arches only line up the right height really. some with front.

well all i can say is im gunn atake some photos before and after and we will see lol... i cant wait though.. lol i actually want it a bit lower. but not much that the fornt bumper hits everything.

thanks for teh advice but by tha you mean teh srpings but, the ones i have have 40mm lowering spring on them.. so would this be the same or is it something to do with the strust themselves?

well if like i said the VT's were lowered 15mm mor than std sax's then if ur car is lowered 40 and the vt is lowered 40. it would still be lower than ures, if u see wot i mean?

IMO its exactly the same at the front but sits higher at the rear now due to the arch as some of the bodywork has to be cut away to fit the arch

surely since VT models are sports, much lower and different shocks for handling
im sure VT shocks are shorter, especially rears as i was looking at a site earlier
