What tools do I need?
Is it easy?
Anyone done it?
Any advice?

not a difficult one, mk1 or mk2? Either way a small socket set or tool set will be enough

MK1

im just worried about connecting wires up etc

all i did was smash the glass in my crash, bulb still works and everything is fine, im picking up a new headlight today (40 fooking quid)

hoping it will be a case of sticking it strait in

it won't take u long, if u want search on the net for saxo sights to connect them up and stuff, its kinda difficult to explain on the net xx

Nah it's not difficult. I'm not 100% sure on the Mk1's but it can't be much different to the Mk2's.

Remove all the wiring out of the back (by unplugging everything). Un-do the three bolts (two on top and one underneath). Pull out headlight and then put in new one re-connecting all the wires.

Well i picked it up just now and will have abas tonight, sounds easy damo lol

need to remove the grill on the mk1 as well to get at bottom bolt, from memory tis only 3 or so bolts to remove it

Yep got to take the grill of 3 10mm bolts i think then it clips out at each corner,

then i think 3 10mm bolts on the headlight 2 on the top and 1 at the bottom, unplug it all and out she comes.

Don't worry about wires and bulbls there the easiest bit, just make sure you dont touch the bulbs because some bulbs die if you touch them.

thats only halogen and that

should be fine
