you wont be able to do the rear windscreen
you should be able to do the 2 rear windows if you take them out and take your time

My advice dont bother..... you wont beliee how much of a pain in the ass it really is and how many times ull have to redo them due to creases and bubbles. I spent well over £50 in film attempting

Make sure the windows are very clean, and don't do them in anywhere near a breeze... So indoors ideally :y:

if the windows arnt clean youll be able to tell! plenty of soapy water will help! and take your time when applying the film! if you get a crease youll have to cut another bit, as its difficult to get of a crease! time is the essence, youll notice when there done theyll be loads of bubbles at the edge, theyl dissapear with time!

Dont do them ive done it about 10times now and always end up with realy tiny bubbles in the tint....
Pro places must use certain stuff instead of washing up liquid and water, which i am yet to find out?
Wait and get it done pro mate or you will be wasting your time...

I tried doing this when I had a vectra. Went through LOADS of film and didnt even get the rear done. Spent hours doing it and eventually ripped it all from there, shouting at the top of my lungs and scrunching it up before setting it alight out of pure frustration.
Then i bought some pre-cut stuff for the car model and still had no luck. Eventually got someone who knows the right way to do it to sort it before i stabbed myself in the neck. Believe me, if you got worldly patience try it, if not - save on the stress and just pay a little more.

Mate seriously yeah just take your time with it, Take the rear quaters right out, give them a clean, then squirt them with a light cover of water , Then stick your tint to the window and start pushing the water out with a credit card covered in some toilet roll or somthing so not to scratch it.
Keep doing that untill its all pushed out the best you can, you can give it a quick blast with a hairdryer as well, then cut off the shit round the edge you dont need, and put a small layer around the edge of the window of clear nail polish to seal the tint to the window so no water can get inside it, then quick blast with the hairdryer, and then pop them back in.
Not forgeting to cut the holes out for the pins that go through the window for your popers, lol, You will still have lots of water marks in them for a couple days but the sun will dry them out in a couple days and if you have your heaters on hot in your car they soon dry out.
Good luck mate and take your time.

i havent put nail varnish on the outside of the rim mate but if u reccomnet doin that hen ill have to do it in a few weeks time when i get chance init.

but thank you very much for all the advice mate ill get some pic up 2mora and see if i have passed or not lol

28th January 2007, 20:19
lol, well if you were closer to me id do it for ya lol. Best to do it in 3 parts, if you look at the pics in my progress thread you`ll see on the close pictures 3 lines across the back window, but from further away you cant see them, u just have to butt them up next to each other.
Erm... Its not essential but i recomend it coz it just seals the ouside rim of the tint to the window so should any idiots in your car leave the windows open while its raining none of the water can manage to get in.
