HIC insurace

I telephoned HIC a second ago, and they tell me that is is coming through as around the 1000 mark, but will talk to the manager, she spoke to the manager and tells me that she thinks she can get it around the 800 mark but it depends on what my renewal is. I know that my renewal is 1031 .00 but do i tell her that it is 812.00 to see if they will try and beat it, or is there a way of them finding what my insurance renewal was?
also, i have had quotas at 750.
