Ive got myself a set of 16" OZ hydra's on there way to me, and am waiting for the funds so that i can lower my car (Mk1 VTR), how low would i be able to go with 16's on 195/40/16 without any rubbing with 2 people in the back, and how low cud i get it without rubbing with no1 in the back.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers

What about 195/45/16 or 205/45/16 ?

you have chosen your tyres wisely, you should be able to lower the rear as much as 50 odd mm and get no rubbing, though at the front they may rub a little of full lock on the arch liners, no biggy to sort though

really, sweet!!!!! smileys/smiley4.gif thats good cos i wannid to slam it as much as poss without rubbing, dint want the hassle of cutting the arches.

i have got 195/40/16 and i have got it dropped 40mm at the front and i have been told 1 1/2" on the back and they sit nicely in the arches with no1 in the back and i can have 5 people in my car without it rudding at all smileys/smiley17.gif . and i have had no arch work. hope thats some help.

yeah thats great, as soon as ive got the money im gona drop it then, think 40mm will do me nicely. smileys/smiley14.gif
