just got a vts and ideas of styling are floating around, i like subtle styling so have come up with the following:

black vts alloys
lowered 40 mm
window tinting
smoked front & rear lights (not to heavy on the smoke)
black/smoked side repeaters,

thats about it really, should look nice and sleek. sort of a need to look twice effect.

opinions?

wicked, sounds like the plans are good.

the boot badges, are they just stuck on or are they the type with little pins on the back?

yeah good idea about the fogs and grill chevrons.

i hate it when manufacturers pin the badges, makes life more differcult whan you want a boot free of badges.

LOL Didn't see that

What about getting your bump strips colour coded aswell? DevilDamo has that done on his black VTS and it looks really good IMO.

yeah did think of that but as they are black plastic they dont stand out too much, plus there is no colour fade on any of the plastic trim.

Sounds pretty much what i'm going to do! I'm not a great fan of the smoked lights though.
Still...should look very nice indeed. :)

anyone know what window tinting costs? not the diy film stuff, but a pro job?

and where could i get light tinting spray from?

wheels are no probs, my dad has a mate who refurbs alloys and can spray any colour, so thats no probs.

Plans sound good, although black vts wheels are very common now.
Also, i wouldn't have tints, they look tacky imo. Smoked front and rear lights will look good on your car.

Great plans..

I've gone on the same plan as you, subtle styling..Not going overboard and doing it as i seem right.
