im thinking of lowering my saxo vtr and was wondering if i lowered it 40mm if it will touch at all when i go over speed bumps. and also how much front arch work will be needed if i used a 45pro tyre? or would it be much easier to just get a 40pro tyre? cheers

Would be easier to get 40 pro tyres if you are going with 16's, but they can be quite expensive tyres!!

basically i've rolled back arches with 16" + 45 pro tyre...dont touch on the arches at all at the moment, commin onto lowering by say 40mm, will it clear speedbumps? or am I gonna have to go 5mph to avoid rippin the exhaust off?

wen u lower ur suspension, obviously it becomes rock hard so there for u cant go and faster than like 10 mph over them if they r not 2 bad but like u say over alot u will be doin 5 lol, otherwise ur car will be fucked!!

i scrape the exhaust if i dont go over certain speed bumps at 2 mph at an angle

just go as slowly as possible, and if you get those cuntish speed bumps that are in bits like:
__
/ \ / \

i tend to go over the middle of the two at an angle slowly and im fine, but if i have to go over it on just the one side of the roadsmileys/smiley17.gif then its scraping time

Also which springs have you guys found the best which i can get on a 40mm drop?
