Try bell.co.uk, quinn direct. Also add a female driver as a named driver and this will bring the quote down.
Where abouts in middlesbrough are you?

To be honest, its not easy to say which companies will be best. Popular ones for young drivers are:
Tesco
Adrian Flux
Bell
Quinn
Also go to www.moneysupermarket.com and that will search about 20 diff companies for you all at once.
Just a word of advice. I would start ringing round now. I had a policy with asda for my pug 205 and was planning on buying a VTR. When i phoned em they said they wont insure anybody under 21 on a VTR. Also found other that some other companies have the same rules as asda.
As said above, add a female driver to the policy, older the better normally.

Aye, I was getting pretty cheap quotes with Quinn-Direct too.
740 quid was my cheapest quote under my mum.
But then we realised we couldn't share her no-claims with my policy...
So I got my own - 1.1k with InsureItAll! :D
Proper happy with it. Check them out.
