Just rung up my insurance company to see how much it would be to declare my mods and ive just bin told they cant insure me anymore cause the cars been modded and is likely to be stolen :wacko:

so i now have no insurance and cant drive my car :rage:
gotta find another insurance company now so need some suggestions on who i can try that will insure me for cheap

not a happy bunny at all :n:

admiral is good,also elephant insure you for mods too!! i hope you get it sorted out!!

Nasty were you on your own policy aswell? So you lose your ncb months aswell. Did you not say im thinking of doing this to my car?

my mum rung as its in her name and she just went my sons modded our car how will it go up by

i 'd told her to say i was thinking of modding it

Then they probably did it as much that she made it blatently obvious about the fronting thing than the mods themselves mate tbh. If she sayd my sons done this to what is meant to be her car theyre gonna pull out straight away as they hate fronting. Not that i agree with it insurance for young drivers is bent and unfair. May be a good idea to go on your own if possible now its done, get some NCB

just basically alloys and a magnex backbox but ive had a vt* put on it but i would of thought that would just be classed as a manufactors extra

nope manufacs extra is like AIR CON,EXTRA AIR BAG stuff like that what you done is turned ur car into a VTR/S lookalike which car theafts like more lol. but still its only lite mods so thats crap they cant insure you GRRR im with swinton and because i haggled and played up hell I can mod my car till my hearts content and not pay anymore or less lol.

got a really good quote but when i rang and asked about mods, they dont accept anything!
