if you can i would get a 45 profile as it will be better handling. iirc Toyos are considered to be in the same group as Yoko's as they wear down quick quite, could be wrong though.
then next tyres i get are either going to be these or some Michelins (sp)
thats a good price, where are they from?

i had the last 4. from a site called CAMSKILL.co.uk
there are some right good offeres on on there!
14" tyres only usually come with a 185 width so im hoping the 195's will give me a lot better grip.
also i have michelins on at the mo. i wouldnt rate them. they are the ones i got standard on the gti alloys and they spin up and slide about everywhere!

I didn't like the feedback from the Toyo tyres. Prefer Yoko A539s or my current fav 048R

Toyo's are brilliant tyres in my opinion, they were the ones i had fitted to my car first, they were superb in all conditions including ice and never had a twitch. They are softer, but if you drive at a normal pace theyll last ages anyway (obviously if on a track theyll wear quickly)
When i swapped to Yoko's with new alloys theyve been absolutely poor, in the dry they are about the same performance wise and a little harder wearing, but in the wet and ice ive found them to be absolutely shocking.
Since then the new alloys ive got to be fitted are back on Toyo's and i have every bit of confidence in them

I've always had Toyo's. Can't fault them. They're good in the dry but shite in the wet :)

I had T1S's, they were shit in anything other than the dry
I now have T1Rs and am very impressed so far

I was thinking about the T1-R's although they were that little more expensive. May look at upgrading to R's when I need all four. Or might just go go for something other than Toyo's to be honest.
Some garages told me that the R's had replaced the S's. Is that why you can still get S's AND R's!?! Haha!

I used to have proxes on my superlegs and I found them quite bad to be honest, they wear down far too quickly. I have dunlop sp9000's ever since and love them.

hi i have Toyo T1-S i think there quite good in the dry and are wearing not to bad for the miles they have covered. Would say that there not as good in the wet. Well not as good as the mitchys on my standard vtr wheels!
