When does no claims start? From when you had your provisional? Or your full lisence? Also when they ask how long have you been driving/held your lisence do they mean from previsional or full lisence? 1650 to me is alot of money but if you can afford it then it's worth it :)

When i get my vtr it will be 1300 ish i would think (18)

Whe u take out a insurance policy and have that wiv the same company for a year which wud = 1 years no claims then 2, 3, 4 and so on. as for lisence its your full lisence pal.

i was just 18 when i got my own policy. had passed my test in january, wrote off my pug in march, was 18 in april an got a vtr in may. paid £1511 for 10 months bonus excellarator thingy with admiral. that was with a write off on my policy so you should be a bit cheaper.

You can't really compare prices that people had a few years ago... insurance prices have gone up, up to 40% for young male drivers this year alone... and don't forget everyone has completely different personal circumstances eg. where they live, theft risks etc. it all makes a difference...

Good luck finding a good quote bud...
