immobiliser problem

since my gear box has went in my car ive had it locked up for abot 4 days now and havent drove it since, but when i try to start it up last nite the electronic immobiliser key started flashing on the dash and my car wouldnt start, this is the first time its ever done this....does any one how this would have happened and how you could fix it?

also i checked the owners guide and it said that when you buy the car the previous owner should give you an immobiliser card with a cereal number on it which you can use bt i didnt get 1...:n:

i had this problem too.

undo the two torque screws on the plastic cover that surrounds the ignition. and you will find on the ignition barrel a little sensor its black. just give it a little clean and try again.

if still doesnt work just try putting the sensor next to your key wen its in the ignition. and turn it to see if the light flashes.

or even then when you want to use your car bang around the ignition before you turn the key. that always works for me too :y: :y:
