right my insurance renewl thing came through today, but it was a 10 month bonus accelerator thing,

what exaclty does that mean?????

the policy is only for 10 months but you get 1 years no claims at the end of it if you dont claim

does that only apply to the same company though, because i cant say iv got 1 year ncb because im not 18 till may

yeah its a funny one im with elephant but i chose a 12month plan instead as you actually lose out in the long run, as only elephant recognise the 10month plan so you cant take all your noclaims to another company. ie 30months of no-claims is actually 24months in the eyes of normal companys because only full years count so you lose 6months if you get what i mean

the 10 month thing is a load of rubbish, you're basically paying 12 months in 10.....

Just the same silly marketing as that 'Payment Holiday' shinanigans.

You do qualify as 1 years no claims after 10 months, but seeing as you'll only renew every 12 months, what do you gain?

Dont let the marketing fool you, its just another way for the insurance company to get your money in their bank quicker.
