Hello computer / music boffins can you help me please

Basically i bought a new album the other day but when i play it in windows media play it just not show the song names only the numbers. Also when i transferred these to my mp3 player (Sony NW-A1000) again it does not say the song names so i do not know what im listening to only the song numbers. Anyone know how i fix this? :y:

When you transfer them to your mp3 player, can't you change the properties of the songs (you should be able to change the names) on the computer window

manually input the data for the files i recken.

test it with one file..

rightclick > Prop... > Summary > Advance then input your stuff then test it ;)

Is it protected content [ie: did you legally download it] or did you rip it from a cd?
Any half decent music player will let you edit the id3tag which holds the name of mp3's. If you just want to rename the actual file in windows just right click it and rename, making sure if it has .mp3 at the end you keep that there.

Yes you can't edit them because they are already on the cd. Copy them to your pc then edit them in properties and copy them on your cd again
