brake fluid reservoir leak

Wondering if anyone else has had same problem: for second time I've had some fluid escaping the reservoir. First happened before xmas - cleaned it up and its been okay until checking under bonnet today. It seems to come from the filler cap. I'm guessing as the fluid sloshes around when driving its slowly working its way out the thread of the cap? Or is there any pressure in the reservoir?

Was thinking of screwing cap over a bit of plastic bag to get a tighter seal. Never had a problem like this with any other car, so bit bemused by it. Have new pads and front discs to fit soon and would like to change fluid afterwards... wondering if I should get a new filler cap as well now.

the reservoir is possibly cracked, might be worthwhile buying a new reservoir, they're only about £11 plus vat from citroen.

Cheers for reply Sean. sorry for taking ages to come back on here - been working away past week and a bit. Prob was no more than a missing rubber seal on inside of cap. Got a new cap and all's fine... no idea how seal went missing from old one though, it's held in place firmly enough.

that could be whats wrong with mine. i've been keeping an eye on it and it gets a bit wet on top. might go scaff a new cap from scrappy.

a new cap from citro-peugeot is about £5.50 - might be easier just to get one from them as I did (and I imagine the seal could wear down with age).
