Whilst parking yesterday I noticed fresh oil from
under my car - looked inside to find the rear of the
engine sprayed in oil, originating from the PAS pipe.

My car is a 2002 VTS MK2 - Lowered 50mm on GMC/
Bilstein setup, fitted 6 months ago. I thought I had
bent the pipe clear from the track arm, but obviously
not!!

What I wanna know is, from peeps who know/have
had it happen to them, how much was it to get fixed,
how long etc... Reason being its at Citroen today and
there is very little chance it will be done under
warranty as I have modified the suspension and ride
height wich has obviously resulted in the damage.,
so I need to know a price and timespan/size of job
so Citroen dont try and rip me off!!

I took the PAS fuse out to stop the system pissing
fluid every where and seizing up on route to the
garage.

Is it possible to fit a MK1 PAS pipe, as they are
shaped differently and dont rub, I asked the service
guy this and he only knew there were 4 available, not
the different shapes.

Any info appreciated, (sorry if its in the wrong forum -
need real quick answers!

Cheers.

Forgot to say, spoke to Citroen at lunchtime and they
said the PAS pipe was rubbing on the lower
suspension arm - this sound right??

I've got a 2000 vts lowered 40mm on Bilstein kit. My PAS pipe rubbed through an it took Citroen 3 attempts to get mt the corect replacement. Severnside refitted it an bent it right back. So far so good. Think pipe was about £30 or thereabouts.

Cheers for the info, I'm in Bristol for a bit so will
check out Severnside as they are fairly local.
