Right, i was out fitting some new fancy bulbs to my 's', and in doing so, when i pushed the plug back onto the back of the light bulb the chrome reflector bit moved (see the pic for the bit i mean). It now moves when you touch the cables going into the bulb, and this shouldn't happen i'm guessing, dont know if i broke anything, didn't hear a snap or ping.
Any able to help me?

If its come loose mate your gonna have to heat up the glass with a hairdryer, then prise the lens off when the glue holding it in is runny enough, then push the silver bit back in and re seal the lens. Gimma a shout if u need a hand ive taken mine off to smoke em.
Not a bad time to smoke yours as your prob gonna have to take it off now anyway and smoked headlights look spot on on black saxos

yeah, the plan was to smoke them, bought all the paint ready to do a nice colour coding weekend, rear badges, headlights and get the grill all painted up with black chevrons.
so the only way to fix the above mentioned bit is to take the lens off?
how is the chrome reflector bit held in place?
cheers

If you removed the bulb fitment bit from the back you might be able to get your fingers in and pull the chrome bit back into the slot.
But if your smoking them theres no point as you have to take the lens off anyway to smoke em. And the chrome bit has a few supporter things that clip into the main healdight body

Much easier way to make the back badges black, rub em with t-cut. I did it last week and it comes out spot on, dont hasve to worry bout it flakin etc either. Just goes right down to the shiny plastic.
Keep meanin to do my calipers but you need to let em dry for a day or two and i use the car too much.

off subject here, rep power, how do you gain and how do you give?

Rep is an amount of reputation points u total up from when people have given you good or bad rep on posts you make.
The number after the colon under your avitar called rep power is the amount you will add to sumones total rep number if you give them good rep, or take away if you give em bad rep. To give rep ya click on the little scales thing under a the persons avitar, then leave a message and choose good or bad rep then send it.
The green blobs next to the rep power number show how much rep youve been given to other people every 100 rep points you get a new blob until you get about 900 points, then its 200 rep points per blob and the blobs are light green. If ya go on your profile bit in the top right corner of the page you can see when and what youve been repped for and your total rep is shown at the top, you might not have any yet though. You cant see who repped you unless they leave their name in the message.
Think thats about it lol
