i have a problem with my gti, im being led to believe that it is either my wiring loom or my ecu. i have been told that i have to go to peugeot if its the ecu. expensive if so.... any ideas??

the car sound like a tractor and has lost power. i have had a mechanic look at it and he has changed my coil pack. he tells me there are no more mechanical faults as he has scanned it.

well he should of said what the faults were when giving the car a diagnostic test surely???

he said it came up with 2 unknown faults???

try taking it to peugeot and get one done there or did you do that??

i think ecua are about 300+

id maybe take it somewere else with a diagnostic machine

yep you dont really want to be splashing out cash if its not the ECU, get a definate answer :y:
