give the cluch cable abit of WD-40 treatment @ the cluch end.squirt on cable and clutch arm itself, then just pump cluch pedal to lubricate.
mite av to do a couple of tmes to work out moisture.Did mine Tuesday nite, had enough of squeeking-especially crawling along in heavy traffic.;)

if it squeeks when you press the clutch your thrust bearing will be going (This is a loud squeeky whining noise).
Else it just could be your clutch cable or arm needs a greasing

Also, check the point of engagement.Apply handbrake and slowly release clutch whilst in gear.If clutch starts to bite 2wards top of pedal, clutch on way out.

spray the pedal hinge in wd40 then put some grease on it and see if that cures it

i cant point to it as its at other side of engine lol
look under the air filter and you will see the gearbox on top of that there will be a cable going to a metal arm that is the cable you need
LUK or VALEO are the only clutches to use vtr clutches are about £80 for LUK

had a look all the clutch cable is covered by a covering tube, there is like a 4inch part not covered just above the gearbox felt dry tried putting a bita wd40 on which pretty much didnt work, got me ma to press the clutch pedal in and out and the squeek is deffo coming from the area around the 4inch part not covered any idea what needs doin if its lube or internal want some idea before takin it to a garage who would probably just say new clutch

you could wd40 the arm what moves when you press the clutch
im not taking any reponsibilities if it goes through and contamintes the clutch though and causes it to slip
you really need the box off to wd40 that arm though

when u say i need to the box or which box are we talkn? ill try getting to it as best i can and see what happens before i end up going to a garage, cheers
hesslevtr

the gearbox that arm what moves goes through the box and moves the release bearing

you can wd40 the top bit that might stop it
it might be the lower part of the rod squeeking or the bearing squeeking but you cant grease them without taking the gearbox off

Mine does exactly the same mate, even when im just going crawling along in heavy traffic the car creaks like fook. Its quite embarrasing really sounds like an old rusty door being opened and closed.
I tried the wd40 ages ago and it done now't, so i think a new clutch is needed.

maybe yours is the release bearing too
bearing is around 20-30 and the clutcj kit by Valeo are around 90-150

if it dont work ill just go to a garage n ask if they can grease it up, clutch seems fine to me it self like

mate clutch can still be all good, i.e the clutch disk and pressure plate but its most likely the bearing thats squeaking..... when you try spraying/grearsing/oiling the arm or cable, try not to get it in the gearbox housing otherwise your clutch will start slipping like mine did once
