What tyres are you people running?
I know ur prob all gonna take the piss and say dnt use the accelerator so much etc etc, but every time i try and accelerate hard (not off the mark, when all ready rolling) and its a bit wet my car just spins and spins in 1st 2nd and some times 3rd gear! Its really frustrating!
I tried chasing my mate in his tyre-r civic the other day and he just gripped right through the rev range and i was hanging seriousley behind trying to stop spinning! Its just a standard vts running 14" vtr wheels with some radial cheap brand tyres well i think they are as ive never herd of them before (NEXEN Radial 2000). I am going to swap the wheels for some vts ones eventualy if i can find some localy for that extra bit of width and better looks.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried any more expensive tyres and had good results? Im fitting a spax psx suspention kit to my car when it arrives, this may sound silly but i am hoping it will help a little by stoping the weight transfer to the rear so much (When it looks like its trying to wheelie!).
Cheers peeps.
