Hiya, a friend is selling some avo springs dirt cheap, with the part number 15-004 on them, they are brand new.

I was just wandering if anyone knew how much they'd lower a westcoast? I presume they are the same ride height as a vtr?

I have looked on europerformance and they give different heights for the same springs ?! :panic:

http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?id=424391 these lower 25mm (part number 15-004)

http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?id=424394 these lower 45mm (part number 15-004)

Looking at all the other springs AVO sell for the saxo im presuming that the following part numbers are about right?!

15-003 - Around 25mm drop
15-004 - Around 45mm drop
15-015 - 50mm drop

I'm sooo confused !!! If anyone could help i'd be grateful !!!

Looks like a 45mm to me, has your mate never had them fitted?

No, he's got them brand new and reckons they were advertised at lowering by 25mm when he bought them but he isn't sure.

Tbh i'm not looking to get the car lowered by huge amounts so i'm tempted to just buy them and see what it lowers it by.

Anyone else got any ideas mayb ??

Any one else got any ideas ?? Mayb someone who has previously fitted AVO springs (although from looking on here not many of you have AVO springs- are they rubbish ??)

I think i've sorted it out now.

Even the AVO homepage is conflicting with how much the springs 15-004 lower a saxo by, but here's the link of a website that i think sorts it out:
