Temporary Cover..

I need insurance for a day to pick up a car i might be buying, i was wondering if anyone could tell me whether temp cover is actually available for someone aged 18? I've checked some off Google and they all say 21+ :-\

We paid for a day insurance with dayinsure.com to pick up my daughters car but not sure what the minimum age is,only cost £10 for 24 hours,thats with 2 drivers.

Tempoarary insurance is a big risk to insurance companies for young people becuase they can get cheap 24hrs insurance on powerful cars and pay small amounts of money. For the sake of a tenner they are risking thousands of pounds worth of insurance cover just incase you crash.

i got temp cover for 3 1/2 weeks and it cost me a tenner. then it was only a mini, but still, a tenner for nearly a month.

i just got insurance with elephant and then cancelled it after 15 days i think it was.

they gave me all my money back and all i had to pay was £20.

i had insureance for a week once and then cancled on the 7th day due to brother taking the car back and it didnt cost me a penny
