Hi and welcome to saxp.

Make a post with all the details above in the engine section in the small drop down menu.

You probally wont fine a uprated item for your engine but thats not a problem, as after all a air filter is just a filter on the end of a pipe.

Ok first thing you need to do is find a filter either cotton like a K&N or Foam like a Pipercross either will offer the engine to rev more freely.

These can be found either on ebay or places like www.espdesin.co.uk dont worry to much about buyin a universal item as they normally come with different sized rubber necks so they can be fitted to a number of engine sizes and styles.

Then all you need is some rubber/silcone hoses and some tubing which again can be found from www.espdesign.co.uk in their airfilter section.

As long as you remember to measure carfully and get the correct size hoses you should be fine.

Or fine a induction kit from another car or saxo and just adapt the pipework to fit your throttle body.

Like I said its nothing too complicated as after all its just a filter and some pipework.

Let me know how you get on :-)

Also take alook in the regional section and see what area you come under and join up and come along to some local area meets.

Saxo is a Saxo whether its a 5door desiel or 3door 16v VTS :-)

ps... before you change it could you do me a big phat favour...

find a country road of something straight and time the car 0-60 or whatever you can...
then do the same once the filter is changed and report back.... i'd appreciate it!!!

thanks
