Just wondering, how much does an engine conversion raise insurance from 1.1 to 1.6? Would the insurance be cheaper to just buy a VTR?
Cheers

yeah more than likely it will be cheaper to get a vtr as it has all the brakes etc to handle the power so better to just get the vtr

Cheaper to insure a vtr mate. Well more than likely.

As most insurance companys will take your premium upto vtr level and then add a bit because of the engine conversion. Also some insurance companies will require you to have receipts from a garage to say works been done.
