Spraying VTR wheels BLACK?

Just found these on e-bay: copy and paste

They are the standard wheels of a vtr sprayed black. Any idea if this is easy to get done? Think it looks sweet!

they were not painted, they were powder coated. Its a different way of doing things and is a bit more durable on the wheels than painting.

i must say i really really relly dont like them! In my mind alloys should be the colour they r, gold red black = no!!

Alloys make a car and paintin or wotevering them makes them look like a fookin Halfords special!! In other words SHIT!!
Thats just my opinion!!

When i read 'black wheels' in the thread i didnt imagine matt black. i thought more like a gun metal dark grey which looks well smart on the right car in my eyes. One mans wreck, anothers riches or summat like that? meaning its a controversial subject so someone'll like and some wont

I do generally like black wheels but those ones look better in standard colour I think! maybe depends on what styles you go for!

Well, I like anthracite! If I get some for mine I would be looking at some anthracite ones but just not too keen on the vtr ones in black.

nah mate i agree with you there. after i replied to this thread, i looked at the vtr wheels in the link and i wouldnt get anything as dark as that because that just looks ugly.

ah man i went for titanium finish on my ride and it's a bit lighter than i expected!!!! wanted them darker.

the finish on them was superbsmileys/smiley4.gif and i cleaned them again tonight and they are still shining away, only problem is they are brighter than the carsmileys/smiley17.gif
