Ipod Help Again.........

Ahoy Ahoy,

Just a quick question, I decided to use itunes for my ipod needs, when i open itunes it has all my songs and CD's which I have uploaded onto itunes into my library.

My mate has just bought himself an ipod and wants me to put his CD's onto his ipod but whenever I plug in ipod it automatically updates his ipod with my library of music which he doesnt want.......different tastes and shit like that, plus when i plug mine in I dont want to lose all my albums and have his shit on mine.

Is there a way round this

yes in the options there is an automatic syncranise ipod with itunes function, disable it then you can just put the tunes you want on to the ipod by simply dragging them from your music library folder to your ipod icon
