I don't know where the switch for it is but you could also check the fuse whilst you're at it. It's fuse F12 under the dashboard.

Hi, I am new on here and a new owner of a Y Reg Saxo.
I am having trouble with the buzzer what goes off when you leave the lights on and open the drivers door. It is not working, but when you open the passenger door the buzzer sounds. Is there a way of changing it to the drivers door. Its a right hand drive.
Thank you for any advice.

Swap the push switch in the doors

I agree, it'll be a faulty switch.

Sometimes the switch is bad enough that the buzzer doesn't operate, but the interior light will still work.

that's french electrics for you! since the buzzer and light work off the same switches :P

The drivers door is used most, so that will be a worn switch. it's on the A pillar near the hinges.

Mine snapped, but I shoved a plastic rivet in its place and it's worked for a few years so far :y:

I should really change it though.
