Just a quick question really, I want to know if an MOT tester takes your wheels off for an MOT? Just been advised that they are likely to use zip guns on my locking wheel nuts :panic: so I may just fit my old wheels to be safe, and so I can clean them :A:

yeah they check all that all they do is put car on ramp
have a look with wheels on ramp then rock steering
then jack front wheels up and give them a shake and spin
then do same with rear wheels

for an MOT they are not allowed to remove anything. so for instance if u had the whole underneath of ur car covered then they wouldnt be able to check it, they would just have to put down that it was covered. also they cant scrape anything of like underseal for instance brilliant to hide slightly corroded brake lines till u replace them.
