Just got a metal battery cover, went to trial fit it and saw some sparks :fcuk: anyone else had this trouble? Its a bit of a tight fit over the battery, and i dont want to try it again incase it shorts the battery, all it did when it sparked was reset my clock. Anyone else fitted this one?

you will need to stick some rubber or something similar that doesn't conduct electricity to the bottom of the cover. I used rubber for mine.

Its got velcro pads for it, but the metal plate itself is touching something metal coming off the terminals. It was just a test fitting i done, but didnt want to try it again after i saw sparks lol

you need some rubber to cover the whole underside so that there is no metal touching the battery terminals.
