Now ive written off my saxo, any ideas what my hire car will be, or what have any of you guys had for a hire car if ou have had one that is!

Im dreading it, ive got it for 3 weeks :panic:

1ltr or 1.2 at best. Hire companys dont tend to hire out fast cars.

Could be anything really. Fiesta, Corsa, Micra. Will be a standard with a small engine probably.

my dad was offered a micra when his MERCEDES ML was taken in for fixing.. he told them to fuck off, and then we got a new S class. lol

good point of a courtesy car is that you can rag the fuck out of it :y:

yeah my dad just got a brade new ford fusin + with only 1000miles on it for his courtesy car. you can get some nice ones if your lucky or kick up a fuss

When my dad had is BMW in the garage he got a micra :P LMAO! hate those things, don't expect any thing decent.

edit - Oh Viper beat me too it :( lol, some garage's are tight!

and a 1.6 fiesta style.

when my car was in the garage for 2 weeks.

When my Chavalier got broken in to I had a Pug 205 for a week.

When the brakes went on my first Saxo I had a 1.25l Fiesta.

When my VTR was in for crash repair I had a 1.4l Corsa Twinport

When my FTO was in for Cam work I had a 2.0l Mondeo Ghia Diesel Automatic.

get in. i had one of those last year paid for by the insurance :)

A mercedes C220 thing. was excellent. I took the thing on tour and drove to sheffield in it to see some pals at their uni.

Have they said what your getting?

Not bad only does it really matter what it is as long as your insurance are paying for it? After all, you will only have it a week or so :p

ive got the car for about a month and yeah the insurance are paying for it as i had the hire car on my policy! :y:

i got a 1.3 Ford Ka when i crashed my 1.0 :p it was an upgrade woo!

my mate got a Colt after crashing his 2nd 206....though after crashing his 3rd he got a Skoda hehe

i had a micra when i had a prang in my old silver 1.1

Was soo crap, couldn't move, it was big bulky ugly, uncomfortable to sit in, and the driver seat sat real high it felt like a bus!

They gave me it with no petrol so i took it back on the red light, always remember that you will prolly get the car with no petrol, never leave any in when u take it back they wont thank you for it.
