what brakes do you recomend im thinking of upgrading my braking system so im going to change disks and pads to something like black diamond just woundering what you guys thaught b4 i spend my hard earnd cash

how much u lookingto spend?
u can get a gti6 setup for £120-£180 which are 283mm
or if not u can ger 406 brembos whcih are 4 pots and cost £260-£400
or hispecs which are v expensive £400-£800 iirc

will £120-£180 make any diffrence to standard brakes ill spent around 200 if i can

yeah get a 283mm GTI6 setup mate, if you pm williamsvts he can supply you some for £180 delivered. they make so much different compared to the standard ones. i got some fitted to mine, also get a 23mm gti6 master cylinder aswell there about £20

yeah, if you get them from williams there a direct fit, if u get teh from somewhere else u will have to file 3-4mm on a tiny bit of the carrier as it touches teh hub slightly but willams does all this to his prior to sending out so it will be a stright swap for ya

yeah. i can get the 266mm ones but i'm all out of 283mm ones at the mo

quick question on this. If you fitted 283mm brakes would you need to upgrade the master cylinder aswell, or would it be alright running it on standard one??

yeah u can run 283mm calipers on the standard saxo master cylinder but i personally didnt like the pedal length. i had to push the pedal 1/3 of the way down before the brakes started to bite so i upgraded to a 23mm master cylinder and now i only have to jsut touch the brake pedal and it starts braking. its only around £20 for a 23mm master cylinder so u might aswell do it as u got to bleed the brakes when u fit the bigger calipers anyway
