Probably not going to be quite as interesting as some of the others but if you can be arsed to read, here goes.

Chapter 1
17 - realised i loved the shape of saxos with the vt kit so without knowing much about them i set off on a course to find one, then realised that 1.1s dont come with the kit :n: so found a red nice looking sax in sheffield on ebay. It was totally standard when i bought it cept for some lexarse lights and didnt have a stereo. The paint wasnt in the best of conditions and it has been colour coded badly.

Got it home to find that there was a lot of problems with it. The PAS didnt work and still doesnt. CV boot was broken, the clutch wire was on its last legs and the hub was fudged apparantly.

Chapter 2
Realised i thought that doing stuff to it would be a good thing to waste my money on:y: so i started off by buying a new cigarette lighter for a laugh but its a bit tacky so i got rid of it. Another thing i did pretty soon after buying it was install a sony xplod stereo, sub and amp and put a saxp sticker on the window which appears to be a little wonky. New kenwood speakers were fitted all round too.
got all the problems fixed up on the cheap only thing that still doesnt work is the PAS

Chapter 3
good bye lexarse hello mk2s. Went to the first meet id been to and it was really good "big up da yorkshir crew ya herd!" lol... this was where i got a massive crack in my window and now i have to get it replaced.. also around this time i fitted the induction kit. I know its open and that but no point spending lots on a 1.1 induction kit.

Also around this point I bought some pioneer 6 by 9 speakers, off a lad on here.

Chapter 4
Black badges, and new meshed grille! the grille is a bit wonky but i think its due to a broken clip or its just shitters. also around then the interior was sprayed grey which looks ok to be honest. although i reckon some people will hate it. black badges were easy to do thanks to jonesys advice cheers mate.

Chapter 5
new rims, good clean and some photos
Ill probably do more stuff to it in the future too. Just waitin on my new job.
will maybe do a better write up tomorrow just im pretty tired.
So all comments welcome i guess but dont be too harsh lol.cheers to the people that have helped me too. Saxpot(my main homie) woodsy, the guy that sold me the alloys(cheers mate cant remember your username lol)mike who sold me the mk2s, the yorkshire lot. And anyone else along the way - mainly all of saxp!

well glad the person with the same first name as me answered first ;) they were just taken outside on a carpark that had a bit street lamp above. Cheers mate and i do want to lower it can get the springs just worried my bar could be seized or have troubles cause its old. So long as i can find someone to do it i will try and get it done.

Yer looking good mate, Reckon Black Mesh would look better than the silver and dead cheap to either spray or get new mesh.

Oh, white wheels would look Very tasty on a Red Sax, again pretty cheap and the results would totally transform the look of the car.

www.tuning.co.uk still have (I think) a nice front bib/spoiler - Not tacky at all - in their clearance section. If I had a base model Id snap it up :-)

ill check it out mr vts. Yeah i thought silver would look amazing and now im thinking black would be better and the white wheels, im really keen on the idea. The only problem with the mesh is its now fibreglassed in so not that easy to get out, probably have to get a new grille or something.

ok i had a look not sure tbh. Do want the wheels white and i think the grille will stay silver for now. You reckon if i put the chevrons on painted black or even left silver they might look ok?

the car looks really nice mate, i love the front lights - its such an improvement from when you first got it. great work:y:

Quick update
a couple of months ago put on some new black diamond brakes thanks to sportsbrakes4u (cheers mr. sleigh).
took a couple of pictures whilst doing the calipers last night and will get some better ones when i do the other side. couple of other things to update on as well but ill get some pictures of those things later...

oh hahaha thats so old... i havent had that in a long time. i had a touch screen jvc with 3 preoouts on the back but it got stolen a long with a lot of other stuff like a phoenix gold amp... gutted. never got any pics which sucks a bit.

I like it mate.I think the colour coding works really well with red cars and i havent seen many flat arched saxos colour coded before.Nice and clean aswell.

fair play, made the best of a bad start. wldnt worry, most of us start wi problem motors, that is, if we're not born wi a silver spoon in our mouth. i started in a smashed up mark4 fiesta. sold my bloody rs125 to buy it too! boy was i sick. just wanted my bike back! lookin well at the min, keep it up and gd luck.

yeah the scanner well... its more of a deterrent, cause i have an alarm but theres nothing really to tell you theres an alarm
so when its all done that will go on the dashboard or something and just act as a deterrent.
and yeah mate definately a bad start but its getting better.
yeah the colour-coding does work ok with red cars i think ollyvts.
