last year i got my first car which was a 1.4 corsa costing me bout 700 on my dads insurence... i smashed into bak ov anuva car and ended up riting it off :-(. i then got myself a ford focuswhich i currently have. my insurence is 1500 on this at the mo which i dint think was 2 bad concidering... i was getting exited coz i planed on getting a saxo vts once i have a years no claims. yeh it would cost me quite abit but i was willing to pay that coz there ment to be reali fun going by what ive read on here.... up till a month ago where i did it agian( i must be shit at driving :( ) this was onli a minor bump. the women sed she would let me sort it out, i got quotes for around 300 coz it was onli a back bumper change and theres fook all wrong with mine apart from a scratch. then a letter came from her insurence!!!!! BITCH (scuse mi french) she had got a quote for 900!!! w/e. i contacted my insrence n told em that sound dodgy as! i agreed to pay the 900 so i could still get my ncb. all was going well untill today!
the bitch wants to claim for whiplash?!?!?!?!?
so now basically im screwed and my dreams ov driving a vts are slowly sliping away :wall: :wall: :wall:.

Happens all the time unfortunately. Woman has a crash into another car. She hasnt got a clue what happens next and says 'Its only a dent and i dont wanna lose my no claims, i will just leave it' or 'We can sort this out without involving insurance companies'. She goes home and talks to hubby and he his advice is 'Screw that, claim for every penny you can get'
My nans going through a similar thing only this was a fat headed bloke in a 4x4. He clipped her little civic and then tried to claim it was her fault. Her word against his and he is trying to claim for loss of earnings and a new wing and front bumper. At the scence my nans car has a small dent and so did his in the door and he was fine. its going through the courts now....

you sure you should be driving a vts if you keep crashing? then again i suppose everyone has near misses that easily could be crashes. My advice from now on drive carefully - sounds stupid but just do the limit try and be aware then when the years up youll have a years ncb. And about the whiplash thing you should see a solicitor, many offer 30 minutes free consultation, like my mums work.

try a vtr instead then still a 1.6 just 8 valve instead of 16 still look sh*thot!
I know a guy who knows a cosovan who's nephews son can make her whiplash claim vanish...
Jk
Urm do what ive had to do, get a VTR.
Ive had to put up with a 1.4 Astra (0-60 in never) for nearly 2 years because someone pulled into me, HE ADMITTED TO BE AT FAULT... then a coppa came around the corner stuck his fat piggy nose in and said it was my fault....cost me 700 quid that copper did!!!! right after i got a years no claims
My intentions are to just tune it...
If you want a VTS so bad then you will have no choice other than to wait, and drive carefully.
Although there is no stopping you from waiting a few months until your renewal and just paying the difference. IE ive got 7 months until my renewal and its an extra 176 quid over the 7 months which aint too bad....for a VTS its over a grand :/
