I know that no everybody is a fan of gold rims, especially not on a Saxo. But I am! :D

They finally arrived this morning, after lots of f**king about with a courier company...

Still lots to do (needs dropping, cleaning, new brakes up front, brake conversion at the back etc.) but I think they look the muts whatsits ;)

Also got my exhaust on t'other day, which also needs a good clean

Still plenty to do on the car, I'll update his thread with pics as and when it gets done.

Apologies for the picture quality, as you can see the weathers shite, and I didn't want to hang about to long getting wet, so I rushed them...

They look fine too me, Gold works on the Green as much as it works on the Blue to be honest - Id be well happy with that :-)

Is that just a trim or a proper back box as its not clear as to which it is.

If its a trim Id remove it as it looks abit naff at that angle, you'd be better cuttin the tail pipe so its straight then mounting the trim so it comes out striaght - if ita a propper back box, bin it for a custom job or a direct fit that exits straight.

Sorry but it doesnt look good :-( sorry

It's a proper backbox, Peco 4"

I agree that it looks poor at that angle, but it'll have to do until I have the time to make up some new brackets for it, as it was originally an AX backbox until I started to butcher it LOL. It will sit nice and straight when I have the time to make it... (which is why I haven't polished it up yet, 'coz It'll be coming off as soon as I've got a day to spare). Even at the angle it's better than the old box which was blowing like hell.

Also, it doesn't help that the photo is taken at an angle - whilst the exit is angled, it's not as severe as it looks!

Thanks for your comments on the rims, I think that gold looks stunning with dark green ;)

Nice one mate, they look great. Get some locking nuts, and paint all the nuts black i reckon. Little things ;)
