Yoko's v Firestone

just wanted to know what you guys thought were better through personal experience. been looking at getting either yokohams a539 or firestone firehawk sz80's for my vtr. have compared them both on www.mytyres.co.uk and the firestones seem better and are only 80p more expensive. what are your views??

Yokos are awesome in the dry but pretty dodgy in the wet. I've never tried the Firestones but I would be tempted to next.
Have a look at http://www.tyretest.com for personal experience and ratings of tyres. Looks like the SZ80s get a better review over there.

Ive got firestones, great in the dry, pretty suspect in the wet and not great with a lot of people in the car either.

firestones are shite, i have them on the front of mine atm (on there when i bought the car) they are coming off as soon as. awful in the dry and even worse in the wet
