would a strut brace off a 106, fit straight onto a saxo, as the cars are similar?

should do.. the cars are the same really
The etech one and the sparco model numbers are the same for the 106 and saxo for example

Apparently down 40 with lower ones, people do have issues on speed bumps, and they get a bit of a bettering mate

1) Im pretty sure it should fit but Im sure Ive heard of someone on hear fitting a upper strut brace and had clearance problems with his bonnet, so be carefull.
If your looking to go lower than 40mm then your proball have clearance problems anyway but the lower item is pretty tuff but you should bear that in mind when lowering.
Also if your going lower than 40mm your begin to lose handling performance anyway so a lower strut brace would be a waste of time and money IMO
Down to 40mm for Performance - Past 40mm for Show

at the minute, its down 60mm, and it handles nicely, been tempted to raise it to 40mm but think its just fine as it is now. getting it so i can dress up the engine bay a bit
