Tonight Martyn's (Max_Saxo) old man dropped off my new vtr. Its a Y reg two tone with 32,000 on the clock. I got it for a very good price too. Thanks :P

The car came with a powerflow back box, lexus lights, bee sting aeriel and an alpine headunit.

Was texting Matt (willsy) at college today and he kindly said he would nip upto Pug and buy me a new shorter aeriel.

During our sex texts i mentioned the fact i wanted some standard mark 2 rears and asked if he could look on the bay, Matt went one better, he knew a lad at his bodyshop with some for sale. Matt went to see the lad, then rang me during my lesson, i offered the lad 15 quid and that was that. I popped over to Matts tonight and fitterd the lights, aeriel, wipers and air freshner. Cyclones - good choice in wheel and will suit the two tone shape down to the ground 'as IMO the two tone kinda makes the saxo shape slightly different'

Nar, avoid Magnex and pick up an nice Piper Slash cut or Scorpion dual exit 3.5 setup.

Update

Yes its been a while and unfortunately the update starts off poorly!

Basically the grill that had the slats cut out and sprayed was being held on by glue so when i was doing 70 mph it fell out, hit my windscreen and ended up at the side of the road!

Theres a few scratches on the windscreen which im going to try and polish when it stops raining!

But this bit of bad news leads into some good news as it now gives me the kick up the arse to get it sorted

A while ago i bought a dimma grille that needed alot of work. It currently looks like this

Needs alot of work so early next week it should be in the body shop being preped and sprayed.

The parts lists now as it stands is:

Mesh
primer, laquer and cossack grey for mesh
7 screws for grill
then something to bond the mesh

also im waiting for an email off 2modified about any discount we are entitled to and then i may order a new magnex back box. i know i said i wouldnt get one but ive changed my mind :P (also i found out whilst lowering the car earlier in the year the cars got a full straight through system so the magnex should sound nice ;))

Willsy has some yellow hammerite so i can attack my calipers and im going to order some black citroen stickers to throw ontop to spruce things up

new tyres too which i need to pick up soon then ill set about sourcing a rocker cover and upper and lower strut braces

i got a new cam for my bday just gone too so expect alot more pics and of decent quality (for a change) in the future :P

Thats it at the moment, still waiting on mesh to be delivered. Royal Mail suck. Need to drop the grill off to Willsy so it can go into the bodyshop and whilst im there i will collect my yellow and black rocker cover stickers. My original Citroen Sport side badges should be on around xmas time. 2modified already have 10 percent off the magnex back box so i wont get anymore off that, looks like ill wait till mid jan to sort that. Not sure when the grill is going to be sorted, wont be for a while cause i need to cut and bend the mesh before i spray it so again probs jan time. Willsy has the yellow hammerite for my calipers so maybe Jan time ill sort them too and also need to source a rocker cover to spray cossack grey. We will have to see how busy xmas is.

For those who know me and my cleaning habits you may want to brace yourselves. I cleaned my car on Thursday but after driving back from Kellys last night its now a state again. Anyways heres how the car stands now.

What a shit progress thread, we have gone back in time although my finances are now sorted so i can spend on the car again.

Dimma is no more, its for sale as i now dont like them. I have a standard one here next to me. Willsy has ordered my new bolts (well he was going to) and i plan on visiting him this week. He doesnt know yet :P

Still got cossack grey paint unused. Chevrons and mesh will be sprayed. I started to cut the mesh but then i had a change of heart.

A full magnex system is being ordered and fitted within the next 3 weeks i think. Thanks jay for that ;)

Powerflow full system will be up for sale, so if your interested let me know.

Tyres have been changed to the conti's. Cars had its mot (no advisories ;)) and tax. needs a service now though.

Also i need a new passenger door panel as mine came loose and my dad opened the door and the corner of the rub stip caught on the wing and snapped off. Some cunts bag or something has also scraped the passenger door leaving a scratch.

So hopefully the next update will be

Yep shit pics as ive not cleaned the car due to the road upto work melting (yes you read that right, its a tarmac river) and they are going to be relaying it so no point. I can however put a claim in to valet the car but the company is sponges are us so i dont think ill bother.

Future Plans:

-Fit supersprint centre
-Tidy the bay up by cleaning it, rocker cover sprayed grey, yellow cit badge, bmc with yellow hosing and a new rocker cover seal
-Paint calipers and put citroen stickers on
-Repair dent and chip in side strip
