Obviously alloys will be different, but what would the general opinions be, should my car look like this by FCS?

Pug 307 mirrors
Chevrons gone from grille
Dimma skirts
De Locked
Colour coded

And of course my 4 stud conversion will be fitted

Yellow over kill.

Maybe leave the morrettes black.

If you do that maybe do not colour code it.

The wheels on that car look too small, not that is here or there.

Just seen the last 2 posts before mine...

Those wheels are gorgeous but i think you need black wheels on yours and it'd be a crime to paint those, but rare afaik!

Wheels on the photoshop were just my old 15s in black. the 16" ones should solve that problem

Thanks for your thoughts though Joe. Too much yellow has been mentioned before, but i think thats 1 problem with photoshops is it never looks right coded. Better in the flesh

Delocking is a must! If you're going to colour code why not remove the badges in the rubbing strip on the doors as well???

I'm not a big fan of the skirts and mirrors, but each to their own!

One thing I would definitely do, if nothing else is colour code the rear bumper

What with all the mesh being black, and I assume the custom baseplates for the mirrors will be black, then I don't think colour coding will look bad at all! Far from over kill.

Matt.

Fuck this for a bit.

GET YOUR 4-STUDS ON!

The dimma skirts look really good dude! As said i wouldn't paint the wheels straight away, i'd see what they look like on without paint and if they look poo get them sprayed :)

the car looks good,
the yellow might be overkill but at least its different!
itll be a popular car to drive...
nice choice with the oz wheels.

I would see how it all looks with the wheels first off. Definitely de-lock it and have the chevrons removed though.

id do it all except colour coding as it breaks up the car if you catch my drift :y:

I think you should do it mate, but leave alloys the original colour otherwise you'll spoil them.

Alloys will be staying as the titanium silver, they look perfect like that :)

Ill get the wheels on first and the other bits and take some more pics. Then aim to get a more up to date photoshop :)

Are you seriously considering getting rid of the Dimma bumper?

willsy
3rd March 2007, 18:28
Also the yellow wont be staying like that, i plan before FCS to have a full respray in a more lush metallic yellow if i can find one that i like so fingers crossed :)

It was considered, but after thinking about it long and hard i think my doubts have been purely based on how it is now without the skirts fitted and it making the 15s look small.

Snewham and Bake drilled it into me last night that with the new bigger wheels and the skirts it should look stunning

It sure will Matt.
