Ibiza Cupra R on Autotrader - Hmm Sexy!

Im a big fan of the Ibiza Cupras. Really love them. An even more so of
the Rarer Seat Ibiza Cupra R.
1.8T pushing out 180bhp in a small body. Much neater than a Golf, I just love
em!

Anyways, to my point,

yea I think the 2000/2001 age was the end of that style of car.
Its all fat, tall and slow hatchbacks since then.

Nah not going to sell mine for something like that. I may have considered
it before I got the 106 GTi though. Personally I doubt the Ibiza Cupra R would
be as fun to own and drive.

Love the 106 to bits, cant wait till all the exterior bits are sorted. Hows your
coming along Rich? Will have to chat on MSN when were both free.

looks lovely mate, still have a soft spot for the mk3 ibiza's! is the same engien in thats in mine, prefer the look of that one though, looks really good. the superleggera's suit the mk3 to a T!

Not to be a nobhead Jamie but I do prefer that Mk than yours lol. The
newer shape are still nice but I really love the Mk3s (as you said)

Wheels look lush but OZ Superleggeras would be better.

as rushy said, there where only 200 mk3 ibiza cupra r's made, and only 75 where brought to this country. not doubting you at all god106_gti, as i can imagine your car being pretty fast

there isnt much difference between the Cupra and the Cupra R's....
just little things like suspension etc...basically, everything you can do to a Cupra in your own time and in your own way!

Well one has a cupra an other has a cupra R an there more BHP standard better seats, suspension an different wheels too.

His cupra R has a full zorst with de-cat, bigger downpipe, bigger turbo, big intercooler, filter jabba sport re-map an some other bits but cant remember.:P

It definately is but I've wanted a TVR since I was 14. My bf wants one too so instead of me taking a £5k loan to buy a Ibiza I'll still take out the loan but my bf will take one out too or get a joint one and we'll get a griff together and the saxo will be my daily drive :y:

sure i read on cupra net that out of the 75 that came to this country 9 of them have been written off and rockingham also got something like 11 of them for track cars so that leaves even less of them

been watching that black one but unfortunately untill my car gets sold i cant do anything :homme: and it'll be my luck it will have gone by then
