Spoiler

I've just got hold of the new S3 spoiler and can't get the b*****d on the car. The reason being I already have the standard VTR spoiler on!

Does anyone know how to get the rear spoiler off?? I'm dying to get the new 1 on but can't find answers anywere to remove the existing one. Even the haynes Saxo manual says:

at the time of writing there is no information on removing the spoiler (from the VTR/VTS)

Any help GREATLY appreciated and if you lot can't help me out then i'm buggered and out comes my crowbar! smileys/smiley5.gif

Cant help there mate, but if ya do get it off intact are ya selling? if so how much?

yeah it'll be up for sale, it's sprayed polar white and in perfect condition. If i manage to get it off, well one way or another it's coming off 2moro! I'll sell it for £30 hows that sound?

The spoilers are fitted to the boot, as an after sales mod!

In the boot top there will be two holes drilled. Two pegs on the spoiler sit into the holes in the boot-lid.. they are basically just guide holes and do not bolt the spoiler to the boot lid.

The spoiler is simply bonded onto the boot lid, but trust me, its VERY STICKY stuff.

I took my standard VTs spoiler off about 3 weeks ago and it took myself and danny, swinging on the spoiler and eventually levering it off with a screw driver smileys/smiley9.gif

Be careful not to do any damage and remember that you will be left with two holes after youve removed the spoiler.
