how can i get the colour back into my bumper strips, they have gone grey!! and streaky after washing it!

This sounds retarded, but apparently the best thing apart from buying expensive bottles of stuff, is to rub peanut butter into the trim.

iv got this spray stuff, its like a oil and it makes it go back to its origional colour, think it lasts a few weeks :)

alternatively, you could go for some back to black. i got some spray on stuff, wasnt too bad :)

i tried many sprays and it looks ok untill it rains or its washed and it looks mank again!i find sprays streak really bad

no idea tbh, but when u spray it it like evaporates and dries really quick lol

ahhh ok i have silicone sprays its great for the interior makes it really shiny and stays that way for ages, ive used it on the bumpers before does the job but i dont like the idea of it going on the paintwork

the auto glym bumper restorer is wicked, bit messy though! green sorta gloopy stuff! bout 7 squid a bottle, but it will last you ages!

cheaper way is to use WD-40 not alot of it but just a'll, i use the autoglym bumper polish, i think thats the best u can get for the bumpers

dont use a spray can if youre a messy bastard like me itll spread 2 ur paint work, the auto glym stuff is much better imo.

For the love of god do not use peanut butter! (not saying any of you was thinking about it). but think about it peanut butter is sticky and you will end up leaving a sticky residue on t he surface and when you driving around it aint good having stuff stuck to your bumper and your car being attacked by insects.
But on a serious note i have found the most effective way out of back to black, trim restorer etc etc to be tire gel. it doesn't run in the rain and gives it a bold black look

Autoglym vinal and rubber care is good but it only lasts a couple of washes, IMO the best stuf to use is Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer.
