furio was £1350 (got him down from £1700). The only downside is that its done 76k miles...since 2000 (its a late V reg). oh, and the passenger side central locking had gone..but thats fixed now.
Had been given a full service a couple of weeks before i got it, and mot'd until october!
Its a nice little car to be learning in..although the car i really want is a 2000 polo gti (but couldnt find anyone to give me a loan)

Seats are only built in spain...they are actually german design! along with all the other VAG cars!!!
Im glad i got a silver car. My last car was red and i hate it!! Everything panned out really nicely with this car. I was just randomly searching the net (at work..shh) and stumbled across this one. And it was only 5 miles away from me, so went to see it that night, put a deposit down the next day after having a good look in daylight!

lol..the ibiza is amazing to be driven in (coz il never get insured on that thing so i can only be a passenger)!! its only a cupra, but faster than the cupra R's...and a hell of alot of other cars on the road!!
The saxo was a bit of a bargain. My budget was £2k, and i wanted a vtr. But the only vtrs i could find around that price were wrecks!!!

That Ibiza made me go get a quote.
Looks like I know my next car :D

actually, i stand corrected!! Seats are also built in romania..and that is apparently where this one came from!!
i fixed my central locking by 'borrowing' a new motor from a mates car. The old one was getting power, it was just knackered out...proper pain to change tho!
the Ibiza is running 259.1 BHP as proven on a RR a few weeks ago. It is mapped, with exhaust etc...and he is currently designing a 'big turbo kit' for it. He plans to put a k04 turbo on, which is the same turbo as found in Audi TT's 225's, so is aiming for close to 300bhp. Any more than that and it could be suicide having all that power in the front wheels!
And i am trying to find a decent affordable set of alloys for my car...just no luck yet! im extremely broke atm
Karl
7th March 2007, 10:04
what sort of alloys are you looking for?
VTS wheels are nice, but very popular and the 'scene' atm.
Did the guy with the Ibiza feel happy with it when it was standard?
aly888
7th March 2007, 10:11
he never owned the ibiza as standard! when he brought it, it already had a map! But if this is going to be your first turbo car, im sure you'll be chuffed by it! and there are endless amounts of things you can do to it!! He works on vag cars for a living, so has all the contacts etc he will ever need to get what he wants for his car. Its not fair!! lol
I just want a nice set of alloys. I have been looking at the vts wheels, but as you said, they are a bit 'overdone'!! Im happy to stick with my steelies for a while as im still learning. The last thing i want is to put a brand new set of alloys on to then go kurb loving!!
