alarm check

i am supposed to have a standard alarm on a 2001 furio, how do i check that this is right!
dont even have a clue if its got 1

Mine is a 2001 furi, Mk2. They have an immobiliser (i think) but mine hasnt got an alarm.

not standard unless the owner put one in or it was an optional extra. have you got a little red l.e.d flashing anywhere when you lock the car?

how does the alarm arm and disarm do you have a remote for it or is the on the standered key?

its a standard remote locking wiv the clicker thing

easy to check.


open your engine bay.
disconnect the battery.

wait 20mins ish

re-connect it.

Close the bonnet.
Open a door.

If you have an alarm, it will now go off for 30 secods.

to reset it.

put the key in the ignition and turn it to I 3 times
