Hi all!

Im skint this month and want to get my car lowered A.S.A.P! As its annoying me looking like a Jeep!

Would it be silly to get the front lowered 35-40mm and leave the torsion bar for a few months? Would it look weird or handle badly?

Thanks in advance!

Tom

Yeah would look crap and would probs ruin the handling i would imagine. :(

Just waint until you have the money to do it all. :)

Id wait rather than leave it like it for a few months mate, as it would look silly!

It will only ruin the handling if your intending to go on track with it like that or if your one of those people who like to pelt round corners on public roads. Normal road driving you wont have any problem apart from people pointing & staring at you.

You could put a couple bricks / lead / spare wheels in the boot & make sure you always have a fulltank though :y:

The only way is up LOL..

Torsion bar was originally seized, but been out so may times now there is no problem, plus made some 2 foot long punches up to make the job easier!

Up is good on a gravel rally car, but on a tarmac racer like mine we want low! ;)

It is important to have some sus travel though or the car will become very twitchy. Mine is going to be 50mm on the back in a couple of weeks so i best be ready for oversteeer! :y:
