Ive recently bought a mk2 Saxo VTR, The car has Depo smoked headlights. Thing is the headlights are awfull they give maybe 15 ft of light off. What are every one elses smoked lights like??
Or........ Could it be the fact my car is lowered 55mm at the front and is standard at the rear, the light is just shining down onto the road, would this realy make a difference?

Smoked lights have nothing to do with how the beem works, thats due to the headlight ajusters working/connected and if the bulbs are position right.

The headlights ar on the highest peg on the electrical adjuster in the car, Is there a manual one under the bonnet?? I have The HID lookalike bulbs off ebay, Its not the bulbs though cause my mate has them in his MK1 and there fine,

try parking your car up to a fence at night and putting your headlights on the lowest setting using the adjuster inside the car, pop your bonnet and above the headlight is an allen key slot to manually adjust them. I had to do mine after fittin smoked headlights. Mite be an idea to go to an mot station n get them adjusted, they only charged 3quid to do mine
