A Healthier Mystic

OK after reading leckie post & agreeing with everything he has said iv decided ill record my daily route & diet for a week. Then you health gurus can advise me on changes to it & after a couple of weeks ill report back how successfully iv stuck to it & what changes (if any) i've noticed!

N.B. Iv also taken on some of the advice offered in that thread so i will be eating a healthy breakfast every morning (hoefully) and having no junk food & a healthy evening meal.

Dont really have a target in mind. Definatly dont wanna be over 12 stone anymore though lol, im just curious to see if it will work.

If simple changes to your diet can help you lose weight im gonna start slapping fat people when i walk past them in the street cus there will be no excuse!

Also want to lose the bump thats begun to creep out my shirt

all you lot doing things like this makes me wanna do it but means having to make healthy food and eat it after gym and before work where i only have time to make butties so think i'll just not bother and keep eating crap :p

If ti works it will be well worth it baz, only adds 15 mins to the morning rush to fit a bowl of cereal in!

Also you can still make yer buttiesjust buy a bag of premade salad from tesco & some brown bread :y: a low-fat spread wouldnt go amiss too... go on, its just lazy if you dont!

Also, how does coffee fit in the grand scheme of things? I dont know if i could giv that up & ill still be boozing of a weekend too :err:

15 mins i may possibly have in the morning....as for brown bread i hate the stuff, just think its spoils my sandwich, though they do get salad etc on which is healthy :p

Supose i'll see what cereal we have thats in date, proberly none lol. I don't drink tea or coffee so no need for me to worry about them lol. I supose i'll try it for a month or so and see what happens.

i can see a pattern emerging. Jokes.

my advice is always the same but not professinal. keep it simple. tidy the diet, go gym (or even late night/ early morn jogs) and watch the weight drop. its actually very very VERY easy to lose weight (its only lazy fat people who will beg to differ) - most people are god smacked when they tidy their diet as the weight falls off them. But saying that, 8/10 fattys dont have any will power and are just dddddddreammmers!

Yeh, a sandwich will always be the bulk of my lunch & i can slip a piece of fruit in too but i need more lol. Had a Panini with salad ham & tomatos today

Maybe i should take 2 sandwiches or something? Or one of those breakfast bars or a tracker bar or something too?

I'll keep updating that top post with my meals etc too btw ppl :)

When I went on a mad diet when I was 13 to loose quite a bit of weight I pretty much ate:

Morning: Bowl of Muesli
Lunch: Salad sarnies, no meet or anything, a couple pieces of fruit or none at all
Dinner (Before 6:00pm): Anything with less than 7 grams of fat IIRC

If I was hungry I'd eat an apple or something else and frozen low fat yogurts. Also, always has Raisons available to munch on which was great.

Also did 1 hours exercise a day.

have a junk food day, like a saturday or something

doesnt do any harm (professional bodybuilders do it) and gives you something to look forward to.

I was late getting up this morning and missed my breakfast

Apart from that, having cereal every morning makes me feel much better at work and special K acctually tastes pretty good!

As far a physical apprearence and weight though theres not been a change (its not even been a week though lol so i wouldnt expect ther to be)

It will be easy to keep up though. After this week is over ill take some advice on adjustments to my diet & my mate has been badgering me to join the gym he has just joined so i mgiht do that & combine this with some exercise :y:

So far so good!
