I have 16" wolfrace wheels with 195 45R 16 tyres fitted, when I took them off to clean I noticed a slight rubbing on the front inners on lock, The last owner fitted spacers on the rear but not on the front, theres no markings on the spacers, so would the spacers be one thickness front and rear? please what should I fit. I've put the old citroen alloys on for now.
Sorry to appear dim!

Look on the wheels themselves, see what the offset is, there should be a number like "ET15" what is the offset?

If you car is lowered... i would expect it to rub on full lock with 16's with a 45 profile tyre...

ET 15 is the correct offset for a saxo... it shouldn't rub at all :zainy:

Try motor-world.co.uk, topgear.co.uk, your local halfords and there are normally LOADS on ebay - and are probably cheapest there too...

Try and get as thin spacers as possible... as you shouldn't need any!
if you get thick spacers you will need longer bolts...

Are you positive its grinding in the arches, driveshafts have been known to make a grinding noises on full lock when they are nearing those pearly gates ;)

Thanks for your help. the rubbing is on the "wall" between engine and suspension leg, not on the wing or front of wing,

No grinding noises yet, just rubbing marks.
